Jordan + Brad Camp | The Clifton + Amuse
Our day began at their beautiful modern home nestled in the city here in Richmond the couple exchanged gifts, got ready for the wedding, and visited with family over a couple of croissants from Whisk. Jordan’s green thumb meant we had some beautiful plants to use for detail photos. These succulents were particularly beautiful!
One of my favorite details of Jordan’s bridal ensemble was this incredible, architectural bouquet from Popycock with an assortment of Anthuriums, Pussywillows, Rabits Paw, and Reflexed Dusky Roses.
The first day of their wedding weekend was focused on two main events, bridal portraits at the Raven’s Roost Overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway and their intimate ceremony at The Clifton Inn in Charlottesville. Raven’s Roost gifted us perfect weather and a gentle breeze for their portraits.
Their ceremony took place on the croquet lawn with a beautiful backdrop of hydrangeas and blooming Crape Myrtles, where the couple exchanged beautiful, personal vows in front of their families and close friends.
Their reception was held on The Veranda at the Clifton Inn and featured fresh, late summer faire from their incredible in house chef. The Ham and Pimento Cheese Biscuits were a perfect amuse bouche as guests milled around the bar before taking their seats.
The long table was set with simple classic flair and featured place cards from the talented Grateful Heart Shop and Raw Oak place card holders from my husband Will’s dabbling into woodwork!
One of our favorite details of their place settings were these graphite utensils that deepened the modern moodiness of this cool, crisp table.
The Celebration at Amuse
Looking forward to their wedding celebration with their friends and family the couple arrived at Amuse after a stay at the Clifton.
When designing the table florals Jordan came to us with a beautiful concept for simple, architectural, and romantic white roses, eucalyptus, and rabbits tail grass which we were excited to bring to life. The pop of these smoky black table numbers was one of our favorite details!
The guests had fun snapping pictures throughout the reception for the couple to enjoy!
The Jordan and Brad shared a slice of Shyndigz Fresh Fruit cake, sharing several assorted cakes from the local Richmond bakery. Their cake topper was made for them by Grateful Heart Shop trimmed with reflexed white roses and architectural coin eucalyptus.
Then the newly minted Camps headed down to the galleries to a painting that echoed so much of the color story, and clean modern lines of their celebration and style.
This couple’s thoughtful touches… their genuine gestures, and their obvious and earnest desire to be close to one another gives me every confidence in saying this is the beginning of a beautiful and enduring marriage.
Congratulations
